I rescued this book from the recycling center and gave it new life! I hollowed out the interior of this book by hand with a box cutter and sealed the edges of the paper with mod podge. I also lined the back cover with some red scrapbook paper.

Coming from the recycling center, this is understandably quite worn; most notably, there is some sort of water stain on the front cover. None of this affects its usefulness, but be aware that it does detract some from the appearance.
